Are you a non-resident but graduated high school or earned your GED in the state of Arizona? If you meet certain criteria, you may be eligible for a special tuition rate.

The tuition rate for non-residents with an Arizona high school degree or General Education Diploma (GED) is 150% of the resident tuition rate set by the Arizona Board of Regents. This rate applies to undergraduate student tuition only.

Am I Eligible?

If you graduated from an Arizona high school or have your GED and you are not otherwise eligible for resident undergraduate tuition status, you are eligible for this special tuition rate if you meet both of the following criteria:
 

  • You attended high school in Arizona for three or more years during grades 9-12, and you graduated from an Arizona high school (or earned a GED/high school diploma equivalency while physically present in Arizona for a minimum of three years).
  • You are lawfully present in Arizona.
