  • In-Person Classes Return for Fall 2021

The University of Arizona is excited to announce our plans for Fall 2021.

Our students have expressed their desire for an in-person experience and we intend to deliver.

This fall, the University of Arizona plans to return most courses to fully in-person formats. All in-person classrooms will still follow CDC guidelines and we will continue to offer online options for students who are not yet comfortable returning to in-person courses. (Learn more about our four course formats.)

We are confident in this plan due to the success of our Test, Trace and Treat approach and position as a high-capacity state vaccination site. We are committed to ensuring that students can be vaccinated as soon as they are eligible, and expect all faculty and staff who wish to be vaccinated may do so this spring.

Of course, we will continue to closely monitor Covid-19 in our community and beyond, and will be prepared to shift our plans as public health conditions require. Any changes will be communicated as soon as possible.

We are excited to welcome you to the Wildcat family and see you on campus! If you have questions, please contact the Office of Admissions.
