Write these dates down! From applying for admission to finding financial aid, these are some of the most important days to look forward to on your journey to become a Wildcat.
Please note the deadlines on this page are for undergraduate students attending our main campus. Deadlines will vary for graduate students, as well as Arizona Online and distance location learners.
When should I apply to the University of Arizona?
Why wait? The sooner you apply, the sooner you can claim your spot in our incoming class, access resources like Scholarship Universe, and so much more.
First-year students who apply by our Early Action deadline of November 1 will receive priority consideration for admission, merit aid, and W.A. Franke Honors College admission.
When do I have to commit to the University of Arizona?
We highly encourage future Wildcats to claim their spot in our incoming class by National College Decision Day, which is May 1. You can complete this important step by paying your enrollment fee in the Next Steps Center.

First-Year Students Applying to Main Campus
Fall 2027 Start Term
August 1, 2026: Application Opens
November 1, 2026: Early Action Application Deadline*
January 15, 2027: Decision Release for Early Action Applicants Begins
*Applications received after November 1 will move to a Regular Decision timeline. Regular Decisions will be released in batches on a space-available basis during the spring after Early Action decisions have been announced.
