Established in 2008, the VETS Center builds on a military legacy dating to 1891. Created through student feedback, it supports veterans' academic and personal success while fostering community and belonging. The University of Arizona is consistently recognized as one of the nation's best universities for service members and veterans – most recently ranking No. 4 overall and No.3 among public universities in the Military Times "Best for Vets" Colleges list – and VETS plays a central role in that achievement by helping military-connected students transition, thrive, and graduate.
