Sandstorm
The Sonoran Desert is a competitive advantage. It shapes how we play, how we research, and how we solve problems. For nearly 150 years, the University of Arizona has turned the challenges of this place into opportunities to push further, work harder, and discover what’s possible.

About
The desert drives us
Here, our football team trains and competes in an environment that demands discipline, toughness, adaptability, and tenacity. Our researchers study a landscape that offers a living laboratory for understanding our planet, our health, and our future.
We are who we are because of where we are.
