Since Arizona Athletics and ASUA created it in 2002, the ZonaZoo has become the largest student section in the Pac-12 Conference. More than 12,000 die-hard Wildcat fans comprise the “Sea of Red” at football and basketball games.
Students line up hours before game time just to be a part of the nation's rowdiest fans in Arizona Stadium, to sing “Bear Down” at the top of their lungs in McKale Memorial Center and bring the noise to all of the other nineteen sports that ZonaZoo supports. Hillary Davidson, ZonaZoo executive director says, “Being a part of ZonaZoo is being a part of something bigger than yourself. The energy is a unique experience and it really sets us apart from other schools.”
Open to all current UA students, members receive an official ZonaZoo T-shirt, go wild at Bear Down Fridays and have priority selection for postseason tickets and home games for UA football, men’s basketball, women’s volleyball, women’s basketball, softball, baseball and more.
In addition to the ZonaZoo pass, students can also purchase a membership to the Student Wildcat Club. Student Wildcat Club members actively contribute to Arizona Athletics, and receive advanced men’s basketball reservations, exclusive basketball seats and a Student Wildcat Club T-shirt.
All in all, a ZonaZoo membership provides a one-of-a-kind opportunity for school spirit by creating a tighter knit campus and community. Students who come from all over the world with a variety of different backgrounds are able to bond over their love of Arizona Athletics.
So what are you waiting for? Be a part of the ZonaZoo experience!
