Simple Ways to Test Your Site:
- Keyboard Accessible:
Try navigating through your website using only your keyboard. Not all users
can use a mouse. To be accessible, you must be able to move through the site and make
selections using
just the keyboard.
- Turn Off Graphics:
You should be able to turn off the display of graphics within your browser and still be able
to view and navigate through your website easily.
- Turn Off Cascading Style Sheets
Test your website to see is it works well with style sheets turn off. It does not need to
look great without stylesheets but it should be fully functional.
- Increased Font Size:
The text and navigational elements on your website should easily increase in size for users
limited vision.
Web Accessibility Check:
The Disability Resource Center will check any official UA Website for accessibility
problems
upon request using AccVerify. DRC will issue a detailed report of any problems and provide
technical support to assist you with making your site accessible to users with disabilities.
