Balloon Glo

Twenty or more giant, seventy-foot luminaries light up the University Mall early the second Friday evening of December, followed by a fly-out very early the next morning. This hot-air balloon event is free to the public. Visitors are invited to stroll the Mall watching the balloons as they fire their burners and talk with the pilots and crew members. Various other activities such as caroling, visits by Santa, and food vendors often grace the Mall during the Balloon Glo festivities.
