Front Row Center

Front Row Center is an environmental sculpture located in front of the Marroney Theatre, in the Arts Oasis of the Fine Arts Complex. The work combines mythical bronze chairs, granite and tile benches, a brick path of excellence, bronze-cast tools of the arts, and more. Barbara Grygutis, (University of Arizona B.F.A. '68 and M.F.A. '71) is a nationally-known sculptor who has created public art projects across the country. Dedicated on February 2, 1999, Front Row Center has become the gathering place for students, faculty, staff and community, a lively space for the exchange of ideas and for impromptu performances.
