Ensures the appropriate care, use and humane treatment of animals being used for research, testing and education.
- Institutional Biosafety Committee
Reviews all research involving recombinant DNA and microbial organisms pathogenic to plants, animals and humans.
- Radiation Control Office
Provides radiation compliance and safety services to UA/UMC regarding radioactive materials and machine-generated ionizing radiation.
