Volunteers Needed to Help Welcome New Students
Volunteers are needed to help students move in, chow down and cool off during Wildcat Welcome.
More than 300 people are needed to help pull off the events, which aim to help students settle in as the fall semester begins.
"Volunteering is a great way to get to know our students and share information about the campus resources you have to offer," said Grace Fama, coordinator for Student Transitions.
Wildcat Welcome runs from Aug. 18-29, but the majority of volunteers are needed Aug. 18-20 to carry boxes, suitcases and assorted household items as students move into residence halls.
"With more than 20 residence halls on campus and 6,000 students moving in, volunteers play a key role in keeping things running smoothly," Fama said. read more »
