UApresents Announces New Leadership, Move to College of Fine Arts
UApresents, the University of Arizona's professional performing arts presenter, announced today that, effective immediately, the organization is now part of the University's College of Fine Arts.
Known for bringing to Tucson such recent acts as "Wicked," "Cirque Dreams" and Blue Man Group, the arts programmer has slated performances this season that include Patti LaBelle, k.d.lang, Yo-Yo Ma, Mannheim Steamroller and Penn & Teller, among others.
Previously, UApresents was its own department within the University. In its current incarnation, it has served southern Arizona for more than 10 years. Before that, it was known as the Office of Cultural Affairs. read more »
