UA Plans to Seek Funding for Faculty Retention, Enrollment Growth, Community College Partnerships
The University of Arizona will seek approval from the Arizona Board of Regents this week to ask the state for about $384 million to fund faculty retention, enrollment growth, the Phoenix Biomedical Campus and partnerships with community colleges.
The funds are part of the UA's fiscal year 2012 state operating budget request, which the Arizona Board of Regents will be asked to approve along with budget requests from Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University and the ABOR central office during a two-day board meeting beginning Thursday at ASU. read more »
