UA to Launch Alert System for Traveling Employees
It may have been a tsunami, major earthquake, radiation emergency or political unrest.
When recent disasters and crises have occurred, the University of Arizona has not had a central system to locate and alert faculty, staff and students abroad.
Until now.
New software is being implemented for two parallel Web sites – one to be managed by the UA Office of Study Abroad and Student Exchange for students studying abroad, the other by Risk Management Services for faculty and staff traveling on business. read more »
