UA Employees Instrumental in Tucson Book Festival

University of Arizona employees are playing a significant role in the second annual Tucson Festival of Books, helping with everything from event setup to speaking on panels and reading from their own books.

Bill Viner, co-founder and president of the nonprofit Tucson Festival of Books Foundation, said the University community has been instrumental in the development and coordination of the festival, which relies on the help of about 1,000 volunteers.
