UA Employees, Alumni Help Choral Organization Thrive

Members of the Southern Arizona Women's Chorus persistently work to defy expectations, maintaining a repertoire of music that is expansive, diverse and, at times, unexpected. 

The nonprofit organization, known as SAWC, has existed for three decades and in more recent years has begun to collaborate with other performers to expand its offerings, at times incorporating samba, steel drums and belly dancing. 

And among those working to preserve the organization's history, expand its reach and ensure its longevity are University of Arizona faculty, staff and alumni.
