UA to Elevate Sustainability Efforts
With Earth Day upon us tomorrow, the University of Arizona is preparing to ramp up its sustainability efforts thanks in part to a "green fee" approved by the Arizona Board of Regents.
In the coming weeks, a team established by UA President Robert N. Shelton will begin working to determine how to elevate the University's commitment to sustainability by creating a new institutional structure to help coordinate sustainability initiatives campuswide and to provide direction and oversight on the use of the new "green fee."
