UA Cares Will Solicit Funds for New Emergency Fund and Arizona Assurance Match
Soon, University employees will have a new resource to turn to when an unexpected financial emergency arises.
And donors to the Arizona Assurance Scholars Program will be twice as able to help UA students finish their degrees without debt.
Both are the result of new initiatives through UA Cares, the University of Arizona's annual workplace giving campaign, which kicks off this year on Oct. 11.
The Employee Emergency Fund is meant to help employees get through temporary hardships caused by a defined, time-limited, specific events such as a family illness.
