Senate Passes Resolution Opposing Guns on Campus
The Faculty Senate passed a resolution Monday formally opposing proposed state legislation that would allow faculty members to carry guns on campus. The senate also passed a resolution to support the Tucson Unified School District's Mexican-American studies program, which is in danger of being eliminated.
