Science Writers Workshop to Focus on Communicating Research
If you are a writer interested in science, a scientist interested in communication or a citizen scientist interested in how science is translated for general audiences, you'll want to put the Science Writers Workshop on your Tucson Festival of Books to-do list.
The workshop is part of the second annual Tucson Festival of Books, a two-day event featuring a variety of authors and literary-themed events on the University of Arizona campus. The festival, sponsored by the Arizona Daily Star and the UA, takes place March 13-14.
Experienced science writers will share tips and insights at 4 p.m. on March 13 on the Science Stage at the Ventana/Roche Science Pavilion, presented by the University of Arizona's BIO5 Institute with support from Research Corporation. read more »
