Sander Talks State Budget, President Search and Regents at Town Hall

University of Arizona President Eugene G. Sander answered questions on the state budget, the presidential search committee and its new advisory council, and upcoming appointments to the Arizona Board of Regents during a town-hall style forum last week.

He held a similar forum in Phoenix last month and plans to hold two more here, in November and December.

Arizona Public Media was on hand with video cameras to live-stream the event on its website as about 60 people, including several University administrators, gathered in Gallagher Theater on Oct. 12.

Provost Jacqueline Mok moderated the forum.

"There is not a question that cannot be asked of President Sander," she said In her opening remarks. "There is probably not a more transparent leader on our campus."
