Regents Will Be Asked to Raise Threshold for Tuition Increases

The Arizona Board of Regents will be asked tomorrow to consider changing the limits on how much the three state universities can increase undergraduate tuition.   

Board policy mandates that each university's base undergraduate tuition rates "not exceed the top of the bottom one-third" of base tuition and mandatory fee rates at all other senior public universities across the country. A proposed revision to that policy would instead allow tuition rates at each state university to be set at levels that do not exceed the median amount charged by each university's board-approved peer institutions.  read more »
