Regents to Discuss New UA Medical Corporation
The Arizona Board of Regents will be asked during its meeting this week to approve bylaws, articles of incorporation and a board of directors for a new non-profit company that will bring University Medical Center Corp. and University Physicians Healthcare under a single corporation.
The new company, which is being referred to as "Newco" until a permanent name is selected, will create what is being called an "integrated clinical enterprise" to carry out clinical functions on behalf of the UA College of Medicine in Tucson. read more »
