Prop 100, ABOR Salary Cut Discussed at Faculty Senate
The University of Arizona could lose more than $40 million in state funding if Proposition 100, which calls for a temporary 1 percent increase in the state sales tax, does not pass next month, presenters told the Faculty Senate on Monday.
Stephen J. MacCarthy, vice president for External Relations, shared with the senate a memo sent to him by Greg Fahey, UA associate vice president for government relations, outlining how the passage or failure of Prop 100 would affect the University financially.
