President Shelton Goes to Washington

As the University of Arizona navigates through some of the choppiest state budget waters in campus history, President Robert N. Shelton sometimes has to point the compass east.

To Washington, D.C.

He tries to make it to the nation's capital as often as he can, which usually is about four times a year. While he's there, he's meeting with Arizona's congressional delegation along with representatives from federal executive branch programs that are of importance to the UA.  read more »
