Pharmacy Infrastructure Upgrades Allow for Greater Productivity
The Pharmacy building – also known as the Skaggs Pharmaceutical Sciences Center – looks almost the same from the outside as it did a few months ago, but upgrades have been taking place that will allow the College of Pharmacy to use the structure more fully.
Because there are a number of areas in Skaggs that could be made into much-needed new laboratories for researchers, the University is installing new air handlers to replace outdated, inefficient ones.
The University has been installing three new handlers, at a cost of about $1.8 million, since July.
