National Institute for Civil Discourse Grant Funding Available
The recently established National Institute for Civil Discourse at the University of Arizona will offer grants to at least two UA faculty research projects that look at issues related to civility.
Faculty members are invited to submit their proposals for the $7,500 seed grants by June 15.
The National Institute for Civil Discourse was established this year in the midst of an ongoing national conversation about civility in political debate. Former U.S. Presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton are honorary co-chairs of the institute, which serves as a nonpartisan center for debate, research, education and policy regarding civility in public discourse. read more »
