National Group Honors Three UA Academic Advisers
Three academic advisers are being honored by the National Academic Advising Association for outstanding service in guiding undergraduates through their collegiate career.
"I want to make a difference in the world, I want to go places, and I want job security." These are the three main concerns Martha Whitaker hears from students when she asks them what they are looking for in a major and in a career. Whitaker is one of three advisers who rose to the top in a nationwide competition as part of this year's Annual Awards Program for Academic Advising.
