Make Way for Football Next Thursday

As next Thursday's evening home football game against UCLA approaches, Parking and Transportation Services wants to make one thing clear:

"There are not enough parking spaces on campus to allow normal parking on game day and accommodate people attending the game," Bill Davidson, PTS marketing manager, wrote in an email.

The department is planning to fit in 60,000 football fans among the approximately 50,000 employees and students who park on campus.

Parking and Transportation staff anticipate that morning traffic and parking on Oct. 20 will flow as usual, but after noon, those activities will increasingly become more of a challenge, Davidson wrote.
