Major Changes Coming to Email List Systems
The University of Arizona's management system for email lists, which dates back to the mid-1990s and was last upgraded eight years ago, has been overhauled.
Coming on the heels of the major changes completed as part of UAConnect, the integration of Sympa requires that all existing lists on the Listserv system be migrated to the new Email Lists system by the end of the fall semester.
"We've had all of these other upgrades to campus IT, but there are things that the email list software and system should do that the Listserv system wasn't doing," said Lisa Stage, marketing specialist for UITS.
