LQP Asks: How Would You Make the UA 'Greener'?

The University of Arizona has been working hard to become a more environmentally sustainable campus. Among recent efforts are the installation of solar panels and rainwater harvesting systems at different University locations, the implementation of car and bike sharing programs to cut down on the number of cars on campus and the opening of a new Student Recreation Center expansion that has earned Gold LEED Certification for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design from the U.S. Green Building Council. In the spirit of St. Patrick's Day, and with respect to the UA's continuing efforts to reduce its carbon footprint, we asked a handful of employees what they would do to make the UA more "green."
