Life & Work Connections Takes Lecture Series to BIO5
University of Arizona employees working in and around the Arizona Health Sciences Center can now take advantage of the expertise of Life & Work Connections without crossing Speedway.
The idea to bring the unit's offerings to that part of campus started taking shape when Daphne Gilman, director of strategic alliances for the BIO5 Institute, read about the services provided by Life & Work Connections in WellBeing, a wellness newsletter distributed to University of Arizona employees during the fall and spring semesters.
Gilman contacted Human Resources, which offers the newsletter, to find out more about Life & Work Connections.
What she learned was that "everyone there has some other specialty, like nutrition and dietary counseling or fitness," she said. "They offer tremendous services for benefits eligible faculty and staff." read more »
