In Last Town Hall, Sander Addresses Smoking Areas, Faculty Diversity, Legislature
There's a difference between education and training. Cigarette smoking is not against the law. And it's too soon to tell how the UA fared in the current legislative session as it comes to a close.
University President Eugene G. Sander made all of these points in the final town hall meeting of his presidency last week.
Since assuming the presidency in time for this school year, Sander has held eight town halls altogether. He steps down at the end of June, when Ann Weaver Hart will take over.
