Inaugural Hunger Action Week Kicks Off With 'Seven Ways in Seven Days'

Starting Monday, University of Arizona employees can fight hunger with a text message.

Or, if they prefer, they can donate food or money in the more traditional way.

Feeding America has kicked off its annual national Hunger Action Month, and Arizona's food banks and universities are joining the effort for the first time with Hunger Action Week Sept. 12-18.

UA4Food, which oversees campus food drive efforts, is heading up a "Seven Ways in Seven Days" campaign that aims to raise hunger awareness as well as needed funds and food donations each day during Hunger Action Week.  read more »
