Hart Talks About Provost Search, Faculty Senate Considers Smoking Ban for AHSC
President Ann Weaver Hart addressed the Faculty Senate for the first time since taking office, speaking about searches that are under way for provost and other leadership positions at the University of Arizona.
In other business, the Faculty Senate considered a policy that would ban tobacco products on the campus of the Arizona Health Sciences Center.
Hart offered her first president's report of the school year, during which she spoke about ongoing searches to fill the posts of provost and vice president for health sciences as well as some other health-related posts.
