What's not to like about February in Tucson? While the rest of the country throws another log on the fire, we're already running around in T-shirts and flip-flops – or boots and Stetsons if you're a rodeo fan.

This particular February is special to the entire state, as Arizona celebrates its 100th anniversary of statehood on Feb. 14. And because it's leap year, those born on Feb. 29 get to actually celebrate their birthdays on the real date.

But even if you're not planning to celebrate the state's birthday, or your own, the UA Master Calendar provides ample opportunities to get outside, get involved or just plain get educated.
