Francis-Begay Named College Board Trustee
The University of Arizona's Karen Francis-Begay, President Robert N. Shelton's special adviser on Native American affairs at the UA, has been named a College Board trustee.
One of four new trustees to join the association's 31-member governing board, Francis-Begay was officially installed in the new position during the annual College Board Forum, held Oct. 27-29 in Washington, D.C. She will serve a four-year term, ending in 2014.
