Employees Celebrate Years of Service
Employees celebrating milestone years of service at the University of Arizona will be honored next week at the annual Service Awards Luncheon.
More than 1,000 employees celebrating 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45 or 50 or more years at the UA have been invited to attend the noon luncheon on April 7 in the Student Union Memorial Center's Grand Ballroom. Provost Meredith Hay will emcee the invitation-only event.
"It's so important to recognize these people for their valuable contribution to this University," said Kathy Hawkes-Smith, director of University Events, the office that coordinates the luncheon.
