Employee Classification Change at NAU, ASU Not Likely to Affect UA, Appointed Personnel Told

The University of Arizona is not likely to be forced to adopt changes in personnel classifications simply because the other two state universities are doing it, members of the Appointed Professionals Advisory Council were told Monday.

Rumors have circulated for several months that the AP designation could be discarded entirely or that the UA and Northern Arizona University would be forced to follow along with changes being sought by Arizona State University.
