Discussion Series to Focus on Promotion and Tenure Issues
A series of conversations on promotion and tenure begins today in the Student Union Memorial Center. The "Demystifying P&T" series is intended to address the confusion some faculty members face when it comes to promotion and tenure at the University of Arizona.
Sponsored by the Provost's Office, UA faculty leaders, the president's special adviser for diversity and inclusion, and the vice president for research, graduate studies and economic development, the series was initiated after feedback from faculty exit interviews conducted this summer indicated that faculty members commonly received mixed messages on the promotion and tenure process during their UA careers. read more »
