Davis Fellowhip Funds International Travel for Promising Profs
As the school year winds to a close, two University of Arizona professors are preparing to pack their bags for trips overseas thanks to a new fellowship aimed at funding international travel for early-career faculty members.
Awarded for the first time this year, the George H. Davis Travel Fellowship was established by the UA Foundation to help cover overseas travel expenses for promising UA faculty members in the first five years of their appointments. The fellowship is named for George H. Davis, a geosciences Regents' Professor Emeritus who served as the University's executive vice president and provost from 2000-2007. read more »
