Dance and Architecture Focus of Davis Fellowship Winner

Architecture and dance may not seem to the average person to have a whole lot in common. We think of one being all about movement, the other stability. But the connection between the two disciplines can actually be very real and meaningful, according to one University of Arizona architecture professor, who will explore that connection during an upcoming conference in Prague.

Beth Weinstein, an assistant professor in the School of Architecture, is this year's recipient of the George H. Davis Travel Fellowship, an award established by the UA Foundation in 2009 to fund work-related international travel for early-career faculty members.  read more »
