Committee Selected in CALS Dean Search

A search committee is beginning its work to find a new dean for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Eugene Sander, associate provost and current dean of the college, has announced he will retire in July after nearly 24 years at the UA.

"There is no way to thank Gene adequately for all that he has done for the college and University over the last 23 years," Provost Meredith Hay wrote in a memo sent to employees in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences in October. "As dean and provost, he has done so much for so many people on and off campus that we will need to have several occasions to celebrate all his contributions in the coming months."  read more »
