College of Medicine Deputy Dean Rides North to Alaska
If Anne Cress, deputy dean for research and academic affairs at the UA College of Medicine-Tucson, wrote a "what I did on my summer vacation" report, it would be something far north of the ordinary. Cress and her brother, Bill, decided to ride their Harley-Davidson motorcycle from Tucson to Alaska to honor their father's memory following his recent death.
"We started talking about things that we could do to really honor him, and so we decided to have this trip because when you're traveling with someone for this length of time you really get to know them," Cress says.
