Center for Professional Development Launches New Programs
University employees now have two tracks to choose from for professional development, with a plan in the works to offer an online component as well.
Human Resources' Center for Professional Development recently introduced a new series of programs to update course offerings previously made available through the University Leadership Institute, the Professional Success Institute and the Successful Supervisor Series.
Though the center existed before the revamp, it has absorbed much of what the other programs offered.
Declining attendance, along with the changing needs of the workforce, led Human Resources to take a second look at its offerings.
