BookStore, UITS Offer Free Cyberjunk Recycling This Week
Once, not long ago, it was must-have, cutting-edge technology. You stood in line with hundreds of other people to pay big money to get it. Now, you not only can't even give it away, it's made from all kinds of toxic materials that threaten the environment.
It's cyberjunk! And the University of Arizona is willing to take it off your hands this week – for free.
The UA BookStores and University Information Technology Services are sponsoring a cyberjunk collection event that began on Monday and continues through this Saturday at the loading dock at the north end of the bookstore in the Student Union.
There are two other good reasons to take advantage of the event. Unlike other collection points, such as electronic stores and hazardous waste facilities that charge a fee, this is a freebie. read more »
