Book Excerpt: 'Surviving Cancer,' by the UA's Catherine Marshall

Inspired by her father's battle with prostate cancer, Catherine Marshall, a senior scholar with the UA's Center of Excellence in Women's Health, has compiled the stories of cancer survivors, caregivers and medical professionals in a book designed to start a conversation about cancer and caregiving.

"Surviving Cancer as a Family and Helping Co-Survivors Thrive" is the first in a series of books that Marshall is co-editing with Elizabeth Kendall, a research professor with the Griffith Institute of Health and Medical Research and associate director of the Centre for National Research on Disability and Rehabilitation at Griffith University in Meadowbrook, Australia.  read more »
