BIO5 Institute Introduces Workplace Composting Initiative
Don't throw away that banana peel! Or that apple core, orange rind or potato skin.
Instead, take those inedible lunchtime leftovers and start an office composting pile following the simple instructions in a video put together by the BIO5 Institute in recognition of Earth Day.
Funded by a grant from the Associated Students of the University of Arizona Green Fund and created by BIO5 student employees, the composting video models BIO5’s own composting initiative and outlines the steps other organizations can take to easily adopt a similar program for their workplace. read more »
