Bee Talks to APAC About Spreading the UA's Good News
University of Arizona Associate Vice President for State Relations – and former Arizona Senate President – Tim Bee talked to the Appointed Professionals Advisory Council on Monday about what his office hopes to accomplish in a post-Russell Pearce legislature and how appointed personnel can help.
He noted that as the next legislative session begins in January, two new leaders – Senate President-Elect Steve Pierce and Senate Majority Leader Andy Biggs – will take the reins in the middle of an election cycle, following the recall of former Senate President Russell Pearce and the ouster by his fellow senators earlier this year of Sen. Scott Bundgaard.
"That's a unique circumstance," he said.
