Awards of Distinction Luncheon Recognizes Excellence in Teaching
University of Arizona professors often find themselves wearing many hats – researcher, mediator, committee member. But above all else they are educators, and often mentors, charged with opening students' eyes to new knowledge and ideas.
A few of the UA's top faculty members were honored last week for excellence in teaching during the annual Awards of Distinction luncheon, held in the Student Union Memorial Center.
